METHODS OF RISKS REDUCTION IN THE INNOVATION MANAGEMENT PROCESS
Abstract
In today's highly dynamic market environment and growing competition, innovation activity is a key factor in ensuring the sustainable development of enterprises. At the same time, innovation projects are accompanied by a significant level of risk, which can hinder their successful implementation. An important task of enterprise management is the development of effective risk management methods that allow minimizing possible losses and increasing the effectiveness of the innovation process. The article examines the main risks that arise in the process of implementing innovation projects, in particular financial, technological, organizational, market and legal risks. An analysis of modern risk management methods used to reduce them is conducted, and the most effective strategies that contribute to the successful implementation of innovations are also identified. In particular, such risk management methods as diversification, forecasting and modeling of possible threats, the use of flexible management methodologies (Agile, Lean), risk insurance, the use of venture financing and strategic partnerships are considered. Particular attention is paid to risk analysis using quantitative and qualitative assessment methods, such as SWOT analysis, scenario analysis, decision tree method and expert assessments. In addition, the article emphasizes the importance of developing a corporate culture focused on innovation, which contributes to reducing organizational risks. The role of state regulation and support for innovation activities is indicated, which can significantly reduce legal and financial risks for enterprises. Practical cases of successful risk management in innovative companies are considered, which confirm the effectiveness of the proposed methods. As a result of the study, recommendations were formulated for the application of a comprehensive approach to risk management, which includes the integration of various methods, taking into account the specifics of the innovation process and the characteristics of a particular enterprise. The proposed approaches allow minimizing risks, increasing the efficiency of innovation project management and contributing to the long-term competitiveness of enterprises.
