PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHEMICAL INDUSTRY ENTERPRISES UNDER DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION CONDITIONS
Abstract
In today's dynamic environment, chemical enterprises encounter significant challenges, including geopolitical instability, rising costs of raw materials, regulatory complexities, and increasing demands for environmental responsibility. As a response, digital transformation has become a key driver of competitive advantage. Modern digital marketing tools such as SEO, content marketing, Big Data analytics, and automation are now essential for business optimization. Studies indicate that over 65% of executives in the chemical industry expect digitalization to have a profound impact on business operations in the coming years. This article explores the key uncertainties and negative factors affecting the chemical industry in Ukraine and globally. It highlights the impact of digital marketing transformation on business processes, particularly in the B2B sector. The role of advanced digital tools in improving market positioning, enhancing customer relationships, and optimizing supply chain management is emphasized. The study also examines the growing importance of personalized marketing strategies that leverage AI-driven insights and real-time data analytics. Furthermore, the research identifies global trends influencing the chemical sector, including increased operational efficiency, sustainability-driven innovations, customer-centric business models, and the integration of blockchain technologies for supply chain transparency. The adoption of artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and automated business processes is becoming a critical factor in maintaining competitiveness. Special attention is given to how digital tools support chemical enterprises in navigating economic uncertainty, adapting to market fluctuations, and expanding their international presence. The study concludes with recommendations for implementing digital marketing strategies that enhance the competitiveness of chemical enterprises. The findings underscore the importance of technological adaptation in ensuring long-term business sustainability, fostering resilience, and driving growth in a rapidly evolving industrial landscape.
