ECOLOGIZATION AS A TOOL FOR INCREASING AGRICULTURAL COMPETITIVENESS ENTERPRISES
Abstract
The article considers the relevance of greening from the point of view of ensuring the competitiveness of enterprises, the agricultural industry, territorial communities and the national economy as a whole. It was determined that business greening is a modern trend associated with the growing awareness of the global community regarding the responsible use of natural resources. It has been identified that greening is a direction of activity, a principle of organizing economic activity, a tool for environmental improvement, which concerns all spheres of society and at the level of economic processes affects the formation of product value, increasing brand strength and competitiveness of economic objects at different levels. It has been determined that greening a business allows it to obtain a number of advantages, in particular: to cover innovative market niches, increase staff motivation, etc. The areas of implementation of environmental initiatives of enterprises include: energy efficiency, waste reduction, supply of environmentally friendly raw materials and materials, water conservation, green construction practices, environmentally friendly transport, ecological packaging, corporate social responsibility programs, product life cycle management, employee involvement in environmental initiatives of business. It has been established that the agricultural sector is the most promising in Ukraine and the most dependent on the natural environment. It was established that one of the urgent environmental problems of Ukrainian agriculture is the withdrawal of part of the land from agricultural turnover. An alternative measure for the use of agricultural lands unsuitable for growing crops was proposed. The implementation of the proposed measure contributed to the creation of jobs in the territorial community, the restoration of soil fertility, the improvement of the environment, the creation of new sources of income for both agricultural enterprises themselves and for manufacturers of agricultural equipment, and allowed to provide the domestic food industry with import-dependent products.
