THE ROLE OF MANAGEMENT IN PREVENTING STAFF BURNOUT: HR STRATEGIES AND PSYCHOLOGICAL APPROACHES (ON THE EXAMPLE OF BACARA COFFEE)
Abstract
In today's world of personnel management, employee burnout is an important problem, which can seriously affect the company's efficiency, employee satisfaction and their overall psychological state. Burnout not only reduces labor productivity, but also leads to high staff turnover, increased stress levels, and decreased motivation. Therefore, management using effective HR strategies and psychological approaches has an important role in preventing this phenomenon. This problem is especially critical for companies whose operations rely on high-quality service and customer interaction. One such company is Bacara Coffee, which, facing high market demands, recognizes the need for effective solutions to maintain employee productivity and motivation. The main challenges for the company include a high level of stress among employees, job monotony, a fast-paced work environment, and the constant need to uphold excellent service quality. Despite the fact that the issue of employee burnout is widely studied in modern science, there remain aspects that require further analysis and resolution. In particular, the following unresolved issues can be highlighted: individual strategies for overcoming burnout; integration of HR strategies with corporate culture; a cross-cultural approach to burnout; long-term effectiveness of HR strategies; innovative approaches to burnout management; and the impact of the pandemic and post-pandemic environment. These aspects can serve as a basis for further research and the implementation of innovative approaches to preventing employee burnout. Studies of organizational factors have found that weaknesses in the management structure, such as lack of support from management, excessive demands on employees, and monotony of work, are key causes of burnout. The aim of this article is to explore the role of management in preventing employee burnout through the application of effective HR strategies and psychological approaches. The article will also identify the key risk factors for burnout and examine practical methods used by companies to address this issue.
