CREATIVE HUBS AND CLUSTERS: NEW CENTERS OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE
Abstract
The article examines the importance of creative hubs and clusters as new centers of economic development in Ukraine. Attention is focused on their role in stimulating innovation, developing entrepreneurship, attracting talent and forming a competitive economy. It is noted that creative hubs become platforms for the development of start-ups, cultural initiatives and technological projects that not only create new products, but also contribute to the integration of Ukraine into the global economic space. Their impact on the creation of new jobs, strengthening cooperation between different industries and the development of local communities through the integration of modern technologies and creative ideas is analyzed. The issues of attracting young people to work in creative hubs are considered separately, which is an important aspect of creating a dynamic environment for innovative development. Successful examples of the implementation of such projects are considered, which can become the basis for similar initiatives in Ukraine, including regions with limited access to infrastructure. Attention is drawn to the role of creative clusters in popularizing national culture, supporting local artists and using cultural heritage as an economic resource. The importance of international experience for improving the work of creative hubs and clusters is outlined, in particular, in the context of increasing global competition. Particular attention is paid to the need to adapt best practices to the specifics of the Ukrainian economy, taking into account its regional characteristics. Key challenges are identified, including insufficient funding, limited access to infrastructure, insufficient support from the state and the need to develop an effective state policy aimed at supporting this area. The importance of inter-industry cooperation, improvement of management mechanisms, creation of a favorable environment for the development of creative clusters is noted. It is noted that the development of these initiatives will contribute to the activation of investment activities, attraction of international partners and creation of conditions for sustainable economic growth. The prospects for further development of this industry in Ukraine are reflected, in particular, expansion of opportunities for the integration of young entrepreneurs, stimulation of regional development and strengthening of Ukraine's position in the international market of creative industries. Particular attention is paid to the need to support the education and professional development of personnel working in the creative industries, as one of the key conditions for the successful functioning of hubs and clusters.
