CRISIS MANAGEMENT IN THE HOTEL AND RESTAURANT BUSINESS

Abstract

The hotel and restaurant industry plays a significant role in ensuring economic stability. It is the backbone of many economies, providing permanent employment, supporting related industries and attracting foreign investment through tourism. That is, the hotel and restaurant industry plays a vital role in ensuring economic stability by creating jobs, developing tourism, attracting investment and supporting related industries. Its ability to generate foreign exchange, diversify the economy and quickly recover from crises makes it a key factor in economic stability. As the industry continues to grow through sustainability and technological advancements, it will remain a critical factor in maintaining economic balance and long-term growth for countries around the world. Therefore, taking into account the above, the main goal of this study is not only a comprehensive study of crises in the hotel and restaurant industry, but also the determination of specifics and recommendations regarding the adaptability and targeting of the use of innovative anti-crisis methods and technologies by corporations and companies in the field of hotel and restaurant business to increase their general efficiency, competitiveness and stability in crisis conditions. The scientific article substantiates the relevance of modern innovative approaches to anti-crisis management as an important factor in ensuring the sustainability of the hotel and restaurant business. In particular: a taxonomy of crises in the hotel and restaurant business was developed, an analysis of their most significant cases was carried out, a step-by-step strategy of crisis management in the hotel and restaurant business was improved, innovative anti-crisis techniques were proposed and justified prospective directions of innovative IT technologies for further implementation in the practice of adaptive crisis management in the hotel-restaurant business. restaurant industry. The proposed anti-crisis methods, technological methods and scientific and practical solutions will be relevant and effective not only for hotel and restaurant complexes in the crisis conditions of Ukraine, but in the conditions of other regions and countries with increased investment risks and crisis effects.
