NEW TRENDS IN GROSS AND MARKETABLE OUTPUT OF THE UKRAINIAN AGRICULTURAL SECTOR BY PRODUCER CATEGORY AND PRODUCT MARKET
Abstract
The agricultural sector is an important sector of Ukraine's economy, which occupies a leading position in both the domestic and foreign markets. The agricultural sector involves various categories of producers who develop the economy of the state and its agricultural sector. In the context of a full-scale war, there are a number of changes in the agricultural sector of Ukraine, which cause changes in the context of gross and commodity production volumes of the agricultural sector by producer categories and major markets. At the same time, the main trends in this case have not been studied sufficiently, which has led to the relevance of this study. The purpose of the article is to analyse new trends in the volume of gross and commodity production in the agricultural sector of Ukraine by producer categories and product markets, based on scientific sources, analytical reports and statistical materials published in modern sources. First, the main categories of agricultural producers in Ukraine are identified and the general features of their activities in the agricultural sector are analysed. The features of the main markets to which agricultural products are exported are considered. The main problems that may affect the trends in the production of gross and commodity products of the agricultural sector by categories of producers and main markets are identified. An analysis of changes in the volume of crop production by the main categories of producers is carried out. The dynamics of production volumes of livestock products in Ukraine as a whole is analysed. Changes in the volume of gross and commodity production of export agricultural products that enter international markets are studied. Based on the results of the analysis, the main trends in the production of gross and marketable agricultural products by categories of producers and major markets are identified. In general, the state of development of the agricultural sector in Ukraine is accompanied by many problems that need to be gradually overcome. It is important to build on the positive trends to ensure further improvement of the agricultural sector of Ukraine.
