MANAGING THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE ENTERPRISE
Abstract
In Ukraine, the digital transformation of enterprises can become the basis for stimulating economic growth in the post-war economic recovery. The purpose of the article is to structure the process of managing the digital transformation of an enterprise. The analysis of user interest in the issue of digital transformation was carried out using the GoogleTrends toolkit. The interest of Internet users in digital transformation issues began to grow rapidly starting in 2016 and reached its peak in 2022-2023; the most popular queries on this topic are: “digital business transformation”, ‘business transformation’, ‘what is digital transformation’, ‘digital strategy transformation’; in the regional context, the leaders of queries among the countries of the world are Singapore, South Korea, and the ОAE. Approaches to the essence of the concepts of “digital transformation” and “business process” are investigated. It is determined that the driver of digital transformation of an enterprise is the digitalization of business processes. Recommendations are developed for structuring the sequence of the process of managing the digital transformation of an enterprise, which will allow to align management strategies with digital capabilities, gain a competitive advantage, create new business models and increase efficiency. Management of the digital transformation of the enterprise, in accordance with the management functions, should include the following stages: planning, analysis, organization, regulation, motivation and control. The advantages of digital transformation of an enterprise are an increase in the share of the information economy, an increase in the competitiveness of information services and products, a reduction in production costs, an increase in labor productivity, the creation of new jobs, improved communication with consumers, access to new markets, and optimization of information flows. Significant obstacles to the digital transformation of enterprises include the lack of an integrated approach and strategic vision; significant costs for the purchase of equipment, software, and staff retraining; growing cyber threats; lack of qualified personnel, etc.
