ORGANIZATIONAL AND ECONOMIC FACTORS OF THE FORMATION OF THE NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT MARKET

Abstract

The article examines the development trends of the world market of agricultural machinery. The general trend has an unstable tendency, which is inherent in all types of agricultural machinery. This trend is largely due to cyclical economic dynamics. The world market of agricultural machinery is characterized by a clear regional structure in terms of export and import. The market concentration of the leading exporting countries is high and continues to increase. The author emphasizes that the Ukrainian agricultural machinery market remains vulnerable and sensitive to changes in the geopolitical and economic environment, and further dynamics will depend on numerous factors affecting the country's agricultural sector. The national market of agricultural machinery includes a shadow segment, which includes three main components: the gray market, artisanal production, and shadow services. The global agricultural machinery market is dominated by the Asia Pacific region, and China is one of the leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery and the largest market for agricultural machinery in the world. An important place is occupied by the European market of agricultural equipment, which is at a stage of high maturity. Among European countries, Germany has established itself as a leader in the European market of agricultural equipment in terms of sales. The authors believe that in the near future the market of agricultural machinery will grow quite quickly thanks to the introduction of intelligent farming technologies. The author convincingly proves that the agriculture of Ukraine is one of the most important branches of the national economy, not only in view of its significance in the domestic market, but also taking into account the increase in export orientation and the gradual strengthening of competitive positions in the world market. The leading factor in increasing competitiveness today is the level of provision of the industry with modern high-quality and high-performance technical means. However, domestic agricultural engineering is not yet sufficiently developed, and significant volumes of equipment supply are provided by imports, which restrains the development of agriculture.
