THE KEY CHALLENGES IN THE FIELD OF FUNCTIONING OF ENTERPRISES OF THE AGRICULTURAL COMPLEX OF UKRAINE IN THE CONTEXT OF ACHIEVING THE GOALS OF ECONOMIC INTEGRATION ON THE BASIS OF SUSTAINABILITY AND INNOVATION
Abstract
The purpose is devoted to the study of key challenges in the field of functioning of enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, which acquires special relevance in the context of achieving the goals of economic integration on the basis of sustainability and innovation. The scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists regarding the aspects of studying integration in general and economic integration in particular were studied. It has been established that the functioning of enterprises in the field of agro-industrial complex is an important process of achieving economic integration of the national economy. The priorities and main areas of activity in the field of rural development for 2014-2020 in the countries of the European Union were considered in detail, namely: promoting the transfer of knowledge and innovations in agriculture, forestry and rural areas, increasing the viability of farms and the competitiveness of all types of agriculture, promoting the organization of the product chain, restoring, preserving and strengthening ecosystems, promoting the efficient use of resources and supporting the transition to a low-carbon and climate-resistant economy and promoting social integration, reducing poverty and economic development. It was established that the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine is the most significant from the point of view of filling the state budget. The key problems in the functioning of the enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine in modern economic conditions have been identified, including the following: destruction of infrastructure facilities, destroyed grain storage facilities, destroyed logistics routes, land mines. The map of mined territories of Ukraine was studied. The peculiarities of the common agrarian policy, which is the basis for the functioning of the agricultural sector of the European Union, are studied, the main principles of which are: market unity, financial solidarity and granting privileges to resident countries. The necessity of harmonizing policy in the field of agro-industrial complex of Ukraine to the requirements of the European Union as a key tool for effective economic integration of the national economy is proposed.
