SPECIFIC FEATURES OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN IT-ENTERPRISES

Abstract

The article explores how the IT sector is undergoing a significant digital transformation in human resource management, elevating HR processes to a new level through the use of modern technologies. The IT sector experiences constant recruitment of new personnel as well as high turnover rates for various reasons. The average tenure of an IT specialist at one position is one and a half to two years. It is noted that retaining personnel in the IT industry is a major challenge, as the costs of employee turnover and replacement can reach up to a third of their annual salary, in addition to the organizational expenses required for onboarding new employees. According to research, 75% of employee departures can be prevented by timely identifying issues and addressing them appropriately. Human resource management is a priority in IT companies, necessitating numerous personal meetings for monitoring, idea exchange, and ensuring continuous development. Most IT companies appoint competent leaders for new employees, who stimulate their personal growth by setting goals that lead to salary increases and providing support to achieve these goals. Informal education is becoming an important tool for preparing IT specialists, particularly through collaboration with educational institutions and the launch of corporate training programs. Digitalization of HR functions and the development of technologies for remote work are key aspects of effective personnel management in the IT sector, especially in the context of the war in Ukraine and global remote work trends. Human resource management in the IT sector requires the digitalization of HR functions, including the use of social, mobile, analytical, and cloud technologies to enhance efficiency and personnel connectivity. Special attention should be given to organizing team-based work, developing technologies for collaboration and interaction. Given the war in Ukraine and the general trend towards remote work, it is important to develop technologies that create comfortable conditions for remote or hybrid work. Implementing HR management methods and technologies in a cross-cultural environment is also necessary, especially for remote teams consisting of employees from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
