TEAM BUILDING AS A METHOD OF MANAGEMENT OF THE ENTERPRISE PERSONNEL

Abstract

Personnel management is a primary task for enterprises of any form of ownership. The traditional approach in this area no longer provides a high level of efficiency. An innovative approach involves the implementation of team building activities aimed at team cohesion, interaction, and mutual complementation by participants. Today, team building is considered an important investment in the future of the company. The purpose of writing the article is to study the features of team formation based on the implementation of team building activities and to identify the role of the leader in the process of managing it. In the process of writing the article, general theoretical research methods were used, namely: theoretical generalization and systematization - to study the theoretical foundations of team building, abstract-logical method - to substantiate the effectiveness of team building activities at enterprises. Team building is a complex of activities aimed at uniting team members, strengthening interaction between them, and establishing interpersonal relationships. The components of team building are: formation and development of teamwork, formation of team spirit, team formation. The stages of team building implementation are: analysis of the team's current activities, selection of the direction of team building and calculation of the budget, selection of the place and time of the event. Team building activities can be carried out by a company specialist, or they can be ordered from special agencies. The main component of the team is the presence of a leader. It is important that the formal leader-manager of the enterprise is an informal leader in the team, who, based on his own example, can manage employees to achieve the set goals. The success of the manager's managerial communication is determined by the level of his communicative competence, the style of managing subordinates, which is oriented towards the real situation. The positive consequences of the implementation of team building activities in the field of personnel management of the enterprise are: coordinated work of team employees, development of mutual understanding and trust between them, increased motivation to perform tasks, improvement of the leader's image in the eyes of subordinates, acquisition of new emotions and experience, increase in employee satisfaction.
