SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP AS A TOOL FOR POST-WAR ECONOMIC RECONSTRUCTION IN UKRAINE
Abstract
The article is devoted to the theoretical and methodological analysis of social enterprises in the current environment. The topic is relevant because the war in Ukraine has led to a significant increase in the number of vulnerable groups, including combatants and internally displaced persons. It is social enterprises that can successfully perform the functions of psychological support and social integration of such categories of the population. The author substantiates the dialectical relationship between commercial and social entrepreneurship based on such characteristics as the purpose of activity, expected or produced value, and success criteria. The article proves that social enterprises have a significant development potential, especially during and after the war; the author conducts a SWOT analysis of social enterprises with due regard for the risks of martial law (identifies strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of social enterprises). The methodological basis of the study is the methods of observation, comparison, analysis and synthesis, grouping and scientific generalization. The author emphasizes that the development of social entrepreneurship in Ukraine after the war should be an important element of the strategic approach and can become a catalyst for economic recovery. The practical significance of the article lies in the fact that, based on the analysis of literature and the author's own empirical research, the key aspects of the importance of social entrepreneurship for the post-war economic reconstruction of Ukraine are identified: 1) social support for vulnerable groups and social integration into peaceful life after the war; 2) financial support for local communities and economic development; 3) establishing cooperation with international humanitarian organizations; 4) promoting an environmentally responsible approach to production development. The author emphasizes the importance of the position of the state in the regulation of the legal framework for social enterprises, information work, application of economic methods of state regulation, etc. The subject of further research can be the development of a strategy for the behavior of social enterprises based on the SWOT analysis.
