ISSUES OF ECONOMICS, ACTIVITY ANALYSIS AND QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Abstract

The article contains current problematic issues that take place in business activities in the field of hospitality and tourism. The essence of entrepreneurship in tourist, hotel, and restaurant enterprises is unfolding. In the field of hospitality and tourism, previous studies analyzed the main areas of entrepreneurial skills that were considered most important for future business growth. In recent studies, hospitality entrepreneurs rated the following competencies as critical to their long-term success: human resource management and development, accounting and marketing (especially complaint management and quality management), product development, and leadership. Attention is paid to the economic content of entrepreneurial activity in this area, its importance in the development of the country based on GDP growth. Tribute to the analysis of the activities of hotel and restaurant business enterprises with a focus on detail. The importance of this analysis is formed in a number of factors, namely – personalized guest experience; optimized prices; improving marketing efforts and others. Hospitality and tourism statistics are used not only to monitor tourism policy in the country, but also regional policy and sustainable development. Estimation of the number of data medium and small enterprises still face difficulties, even despite the creation of a system of statistics in the tourism sector. The issue of quality management in this area is separately disclosed. Effective quality management is solution-oriented and leverages the problem-solving skills of its best managers. A manager who can quickly clean a room or take a reservation is just as important as a manager who builds effective teams. Managers must be practical and creative in solving customer and staff problems as they arise to maintain hotel quality. Research practice shows that the image of small and medium-sized enterprises in this field is very heterogeneous. Also, it is indicated that it is necessary to pay attention not only to the development of new products, but also as a process of development of the business itself.
