USE OF INTEGRATED PERFORMANCE INDICATORS IN THE MANAGEMENT OF PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES IN UKRAINE
Abstract
The purpose of the research is to determine the current trends in the development of the pharmaceutical market and to evaluate the effectiveness of leading domestic enterprises operating in this market. The relevance of the research emphasizes the importance of effective management of the company's activities to achieve the maximum result in the face of limitations and uncertainty in today's conditions. Efficiency management becomes critically important for achieving goals, optimizing the use of resources and reducing costs, which in turn guarantees sustainable operation and development of the enterprise in competitive conditions. The article is devoted to the study of the management of the effectiveness of the functioning of the leading pharmaceutical companies of Ukraine. The main trends in the functioning of the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine over the past five years have been considered, and factors that have a negative impact on the development of the pharmaceutical industry have been identified. An analysis of the main aspects of the pharmaceutical industry was carried out, the production and sale of pharmaceutical products and drugs were investigated, the results of which show not only a reduction in sales volumes, but also changes in the structure of the "pharmacy basket", including an increase in the average cost of goods. Attention is focused on the importance of domestic pharmaceutical companies for the economy of Ukraine. A positive trend in the growth of the volumes of products sold by leading Ukrainian manufacturers of pharmaceutical products during 2018-2021 and a slowdown in 2022 is considered. The evaluation of the effectiveness of management of three subsystems - production, commercial and financial - was carried out for leading Ukrainian pharmaceutical companies, such as: "Farmak", "Pharmaceutical firm "Darnytsia", "Yuriya-Pharm", Corporation "Arterium", "Pharmaceutical Group "Zdorovya". A detailed analysis of the definition of the integral indicator of management efficiency evaluation, conducted on the example of "Farmak". An integral indicator for evaluating the effectiveness of the management of these companies over the past five years has been determined.
