MANAGEMENT OF THE EFFICIENCY OF ENTERPRISE ACTIVITY: ESSENCE AND MEANING
Abstract
The article considers the questions of managing the efficiency of the enterprise's production activity and its place in the management mechanism of industrial enterprises. The purpose of the article is to study the essence and methods of managing the production activity of enterprises, to determine ways to increase its efficiency at enterprises within the existing efficiency management systems and the implementation of business management information systems. The task: to conduct a review of literary sources on the main areas of management of the efficiency of the production activity of the enterprise; determine directions and features of the process of managing the efficiency of the enterprise's production activity; to investigate the peculiarities of the application of the system of indicators for the evaluation of production efficiency; form recommendations for the implementation of business management information systems. The object of the study is the processes and methods of enterprise management based on the use of modern information technologies. The subject of the study is theoretical approaches and practical directions for determining the ways and methods of managing the production activities of enterprises, aimed at increasing the economic efficiency of the enterprise from planning, forecasting, analysis, tracking and improvement of economic activity; analysis and interpretation of data in real time; management of product supply chains along the entire production cycle, human resources management. It has been established that the management of the efficiency of production activity is one of the key directions of any enterprises, regardless of its size and field of activity. The importance of managing the efficiency of enterprise's activity is justified for ensuring of its successful development. The essence and significance of the management of efficiency of production activity is defined which allows to increase the competitiveness of the enterprise and to ensure its financial stability. It has been analyzed that the efficiency of the enterprise's production activity is defined as the ratio between the revenues and expenses. The article also considers the main directions of managing the efficiency of the enterprise's production activity, highlights the main stages of managing the efficiency. It has been proposed to use a complex system of indicators to form a general conclusion about the efficiency of the enterprise - to create an own program for improving the efficiency of enterprises.
