ІТ-PRODUCT MANAGER: ANALYSIS OF THE LABOR MARKET AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF ECONOMIC CHANGES
Abstract
The article notes the need to overcome new economic challenges and labor market risks by product managers to implement the process of product creation and promotion, strategic management of the IT organization. During the study, the following methods were used: general scientific methods (abstract-logical, systems approach; analysis and synthesis), as well as special research methods: statistical comparisons, groupings, sampling (to analyze the activities of IT industry organizations and the dynamics of the labor market), method of theoretical generalization. The specifics of the IT industry and the impact of the labor market on the staffing of its organizations are revealed on the basis of statistical data and expert judgments. The development of digitalization of the IT industry is analyzed, which allows technologically modernizing the organization, increasing human capital, and increasing the mobility and adaptability of specialists. The role of the product manager in management processes in the IT organization is analyzed. The skills and abilities of a product manager in IT organizations are systematized. Positioning of the product manager on the labor market in modern conditions of economic changes is done. The provided recommendations for improving the situation on the labor market for IT specialists cover the directions of stimulating the economic environment, developing programs for improving the qualifications of specialists and retraining, improving the wage system, developing motivational practices to increase employee loyalty; improvement of working conditions, practice of flexible work formats; increasing the availability of professions in the field of high technologies. The tool of the professional framework of digital competence of IT industry specialists is proposed for improving human potential and staffing. The study makes a practical contribution to the understanding of the latest trends in the labor market in the conditions of martial law, their impact on the development and organization and limitations of activities in the IT industry and the risks that must be overcome by product managers responsible for the product strategy of organizations. The results of the study can be used by organizational leaders, product managers and recruiters to manage in war conditions, develop strategies and practical approaches to achieve sustainability and success in managing an organization.
