TRANSFORMATION PROCESSES OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES IN WAR AND POST-WAR PERIOD
Abstract
The article is devoted to the topical issues of transformational processes of agro-industrial enterprises in modern conditions. It is important to understand how enterprises adapt to changing circumstances, because the agricultural sector of Ukraine, which is the main component of food security, is suffering due to a full-scale war and is forced to make transformational changes. The purpose of this article is a comprehensive analysis of the impact of military operations on the agricultural sector of Ukraine and proposals for effective solutions for the transformational development of agro-industrial enterprises in order to overcome the challenges associated with the war and create a more sustainable agricultural sector. Research methods included generalization, analysis and synthesis of statistical information from official websites of state services of Ukraine. It is noted that agribusiness enterprises play an important role in ensuring the economic and social stability of society during a full-scale war, create jobs and contribute to the development of the agricultural sector, which in turn has a positive effect on the country's economy. Despite the challenges of the war, the agricultural sector in Ukraine still plays a crucial role in supporting the country's economy, providing basic needs such as food and other agricultural products and creating jobs. However, achieving these goals requires concerted efforts of government, business and society as a whole. This article explores the challenges facing the agricultural sector in Ukraine, the impact of the war on food security and prices, and potential solutions to help overcome these challenges. The role of technology and innovation in agriculture and the importance of sustainable practices for the long-term development of the sector are also discussed. A road map of transformational processes for enterprises of the agro-industrial sector is proposed, which includes the following elements: innovations, integration with the world economy and its processes, the introduction of digital technologies in agriculture and, as a result, the creation of an agro-industrial ecosystem.
