Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyze the essence of change management in the enterprise. The importance of studying the essence of change management in the enterprise is proved. Development and change are integral components of not only social life, but also the life of an enterprise. Any enterprise, being an open socio-economic or production-economic system, combines two goals - the desire to survive (security, have a certain stability, function optimally) and the desire to develop (change oneself, improve). In other words, each enterprise at a particular moment in time and existence represents a known balance of processes of change and relative stabilization within the framework of ensuring security. Ukrainian business today is an economic activity that functions within the framework of the war that the Russian Federation unleashed back in 2014, and in 2022 launched a full-scale invasion of our lands. Such concepts as "adaptation", "survival", "change" have significantly increased their importance in the economic and financial life of every socio-economic system in Ukraine. It should be noted that the adaptation of Ukrainian and foreign enterprises operating on the territory of our country to the new conditions of existence, characterized by constant changes and dynamism of the external environment, involves a revision of the management paradigm itself. Consequently, in the foreground, within the framework of improving the efficiency of enterprise management, there is an appropriate response to the dynamism of the external environment. The characteristics of the concept of "change" in science are presented. The importance and relevance of the concept of "change" in different scientific directions are determined. A matrix of the main types of changes in the structure of the enterprise has been formed. It has been determined that changes in the enterprise should be understood as phenomena and processes that, under the pressure of the dynamism of the external environment, have an impact on the activity of this socio-economic system and, without a proper management system, lead to security threats. The problem of change management at Ukrainian enterprises is not only a problem within the domestic market, but also an exit to new, external ones. The hostilities that the Russian Federation has brought with its terrorist actions have led to the fact that a significant number of businesses are forced to migrate and / or enter safer markets such as Poland, Lithuania, etc. It is also changes and new dynamics in the external environment. That is why, within the framework of such conditions, only such a socio-economic system adapts, survives and develops safely, which was the first to introduce changes and apply new management decisions. A scheme of key aspects of changes in the enterprise has been formed. It has been established that change management should be considered as a measure of the influence of the control system on phenomena and processes that change the structure of the socio-economic system through the decisions made, in such a way as to make adjustments in the direction of preventing a decrease in the level of safety.
