Abstract

Urbanization of socio-economic processes causes positive and negative phenomena. We consider the concentration of resources and the creation of prerequisites for the development of industrial production and economic development of territories to be positive. However, an obvious negative aspect is the low level of attention to ecology and human habitat. The increase in pollution in urban areas causes problems with the health of their residents. The goal is to find mechanisms for improving the management of sustainable development of territories with an emphasis on greening business and tourism. Viewing the management of open social innovation as a dynamic rather than a stable, linear or deterministic process can generate more effective theories. We use empirical data from repeated unstructured interviews "in the process of adoption". Their use makes it possible to analyze how open innovation initiatives develop over time. Compared to more linear models such as life-cycle dependency theories, process theory argues that social ecosystem innovation management initiatives are in many ways dynamic and evolutionary, but not deterministic. Such initiatives will eventually have an even more valuable focus. We argue that process theory can help practitioners understand, use, and implement open innovation because it examines what individuals or organizations do, rather than who they are. However, this study emphasizes that initiatives in the field of management of open social innovations, transformation of the business environment, including from the standpoint of tourism development, are based on a worldview. They have a structured, systemic nature and involve constant attention and ensuring stability and the need to develop their dynamic capabilities. On the part of the residents of tribal settlements, as well as the system of local self-government, state authorities, it is necessary to develop, adapt and jointly develop these initiatives in an ecosystem environment. The expediency of the ecological orientation of business and tourism and their role in ensuring the sustainable development of territories has been proven. The practical significance is the strengthening of the development of business and tourism through the implementation of the idea of "Family Manor".
