ANALYSIS OF THE ACTIVITIES OF THE MAIN FINANCIAL INTERMEDIARIES ON THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET
Abstract
The article is devoted to the activity of financial intermediaries on the international market. The purpose of the article is theoretical substantiation and development of practical recommendations regarding the activity of intermediaries in international trade, the subject of which is the role of intermediaries in international trade and the functioning of financial intermediaries in the international financial market. The chosen topic is currently particularly relevant, since no enterprise, both Ukrainian and foreign, can do without the help of intermediaries. Trading activity is an integral element of the market economy. It is difficult to find an entrepreneur who does not use the services of intermediaries or who himself does not act as an intermediary in the implementation of commercial transactions. An equally important role in all segments of the international financial market is played by financial intermediaries who ensure constant interaction between countries and direct the flow of capital to the most efficient consumers. Research methods in the article are compiled using a systematic approach, statistical and theoretical analysis to determine the main activity of intermediary activity, comparison of types of intermediaries in the international market, as well as comparison of financial intermediaries, conducting an economic analysis to study the financial market, conducting an operational and cost analysis to expand the understanding of profitability of banks, cost and profitability of specific operations, conducting a macroeconomic analysis to compare the activity of financial intermediaries on the international market. In the practical sense of the obtained results, the activity of the main financial intermediaries on the international market was assessed. The influence of the system of intermediary activity on the competitiveness of banking activity is analyzed. The activity of financial intermediaries was evaluated in three main areas: Ukrainian, European and American. In the theoretical and methodological direction, a general set of characteristics and activities of intermediaries in international trade was carried out.
