THE ROLE OF SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN ACCUMULATING SOCIAL CAPITAL AND SOLVING COMMUNITY PROBLEMS IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITALIZATION OF THE REGION'S ECONOMY

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the development of social entrepreneurship in the context of digitalization of the region's economy, as well as its impact on the accumulation of social capital of the community. The essential content of the concepts "social entrepreneurship" and "social capital" is considered. It has been established that human capital is the basic resource for the accumulation of social capital. Since the knowledge and skills of a person increase his capacity for public activity and effective interaction. It has been proven that state-legal institutions and institutions of civil society act as a source of accumulation of social capital. They create certain legal norms and control their implementation. It has been proven that the influence of social entrepreneurship on the accumulation of social capital is mutually dependent, since social capital has an impact on the development of entrepreneurial social infrastructure. Sources of attracting financial resources necessary for the activities of social enterprises in Poland and Ukraine are analyzed. It encourages the community to work together to achieve the set goal. It has been established that social enterprises of the Republic of Poland mainly use financial resources of state funds in their activities. It was revealed that the main source of financial resources of social enterprises of Ukraine is the income received from economic activity. It was determined that in the conditions of digitization of the economy of the regions, it is extremely important to attract innovative sources of financing of social enterprises. They should be based on new forms of solidarity, partnership, cooperation and be accompanied by an increase in trust among residents, and thus by strengthening social capital. Crowdfunding is an innovative source of funding for social enterprises. It is an important tool for strengthening existing social enterprises, popularizing social entrepreneurship and creating a positive practice of attracting community funds by social enterprises. The peculiarities of the activities of crowdfunding platforms in Ukraine and abroad are considered.
