DEVELOPMENT OF LOGISTICS OUTSOURCING IN UKRAINE
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the development of logistics outsourcing in Ukraine. It is established that logistics outsourcing is an element of competition, which contributes to the introduction of innovations, improvement of integration relations of enterprises, reduction of logistics costs, release of internal resources of the enterprise, increase in the level of logistics services performed. A historical excursion into the development of global logistics outsourcing is presented. Opportunities for transferring logistics functions to the organizations involved are highlighted. The following types of logistics outsourcing are listed: warehouse, production, transport, customs; purchasing, informational; related to resources or sales of goods. It is established that logistics outsourcing involves delegating the responsibilities of logistics business processes containing: transportation of goods, warehouse accounting, reception and unloading of goods, labelling of goods, placement and storage of products in a warehouse, etc. The priority of logistics outsourcing services in Ukraine has been formed. Functional areas of activity of enterprises that use outsourcing are defined. The advantages, disadvantages and risks of outsourcing logistics services are outlined. Advantages of logistics outsourcing: high-quality solution of logistics issues, reduction of logistics costs, the ability to focus on your main activity, strengthening your competitive position, the ability to use the experience of experts. The main disadvantages of logistics outsourcing are loss of control over own logistics, the probability of loss of important internal information, poor quality of services, the need to pay additional fees, dependence on the services of a logistics contractor. The development of logistics outsourcing in Ukraine is hindered by such following factors as lack of a favourable investment climate, low level of development of the stock market and logistics infrastructure, unstable financial and economic situation, imperfect contractual relations, high level of corruption and bureaucratic obstacles to the development of entrepreneurship. Logistics outsourcing helps you set up and optimize all operations for maximum benefits with minimal effort.
