Abstract

The article reviews and analyzes the need to introduce innovations in the activities of transport and logistics enterprises to better satisfy customers in terms of quality, quantity and cost of transportation services. Currently, all transport and logistics companies, including stevedoring companies, operate in conditions of fierce competition for the cargo base both in the international and domestic markets. The study of the problems of development of stevedoring companies, from the point of view of the development of new methods of implementation of innovative technologies, highlights the lack of state innovation and investment policy in Ukraine and the need to analyze current trends in innovative development and features of their application at maritime transport enterprises. One of the options for solving the problems of innovative progress in Ukrainian companies, including logistics companies, should be a sophisticated state innovation and investment policy aimed at increasing the pace of innovative investments and forming an effective operating system for working with innovations at all levels of the economy. It is also necessary to clearly define the capabilities of enterprises and the need to implement specific innovations in a particular area of activity. Analyzed the state of innovation activity on the example of one of the state enterprises that was engaged in stevedoring activities before the outbreak of hostilities. This is the sea trading port "Stevedoring company "Olvia". This enterprise has a significant number of strengths and attention should be paid to the factors and risks that hinder the development of this port operator. Having considered, we can conclude that it is expedient to introduce drones to solve some of the most difficult tasks of managing the warehouses of IC "Olvia". The economic efficiency from the introduction of drones will amount to 520, 6 thousand UAH. The number of errors when miscalculating pallets is reduced by almost 3.5 times. Thus, this study confirms the effectiveness and necessity of introducing innovative technologies in the transport and logistics sector.
