GENERAL ASPECTS OF GENDER-ORIENTED APPROACH IN THE FIELD OF LABOR RELATIONS AND BUSINESS ACTIVITY

Abstract

Gender inequalities in wages, gender segregation, gender imbalances in the business sector, which are caused by social, political factors, social stereotypes, limited economic opportunities, the study of the peculiarities of gender-oriented approach in business and labor relations is updated. The purpose of the survey is to identify the peculiarities of gender-oriented approach in the field of labor relations and business activity. The results of the research are based on general scientific and special methods. In particular, methods of generalization and comparison were used to formalize theoretical provisions on gender equality in the sphere of labor relations and business activity; methods of analysis and synthesis – for formalization of priority directions on gender equality in the sphere of labor relations and business activity. The methods of graphic analysis have made it possible to accurately display the results obtained. The article examines the peculiarities of gender-oriented approach in the sphere of labor relations and business activity. The level of employment of the population in the sex by individual age groups is analyzed. Features of horizontal and vertical professional segregation are defined. Gender-based labor remuneration dissolving has been analyzed. The factors that lead to gender gap in entrepreneurship are identified. Preventive measures in the sphere of enterprise management in the context of gender-oriented approach in business activity are opened. A number of key trends are emerging from the pandemic and are influencing gender balance issues and the further development of women’s entrepreneurship, in particular in strengthening gender equality principles and increasing the level of inclusion of personnel policy. Based on the research, it is determined that the main priorities for gender equality in the area of labor relations and business activity should be the change of established stereotypes regarding the position of women and men in the labor market, development of social entrepreneurship, promotion of women's entrepreneurship, development of public-private partnership, support of small and medium-sized businesses, to regulate the labor remuneration system, to introduce measures aimed at reducing gender segregation, to raise awareness.
