PROBLEMATIC ISSUES OF UKRAINE'S COOPERATION WITH THE EU
Abstract
Ukraine's cooperation with the EU and European integration is one of the most important tasks for foreign economic development, as the EU countries and their state governance system are the best benchmark for improving the living conditions of the people of our country. It is thanks to the signed Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union that the authorities see what needs to be finished and improved. This article examines the current state of Ukraine's cooperation with the European Union and the difficulties of European integration of our country. The aim of the article is to understand the problematic issues of Ukraine's cooperation with the EU and provide relevant recommendations. The following general research methods are used in the work: comparison, description, analysis and synthesis. The main factors influencing international cooperation in the context of globalization are identified. A survey "Which integration path should Ukraine take?" was conducted and analyzed. Experts' opinions on such a balanced step as signing the Association Agreement were heard. The significance of this document and its impact on all, without exception, spheres of life are noted. The obtained positive achievements and negative results of Ukraine in promoting EU integration after the publication of new and corrections to old laws are presented. Corruption was singled out as one of the main problems not only of Ukraine but also of the whole world, as well as the expediency of implementing judicial reform. Areas of activity that are most important for modifications are considered: energy sector, transport sector, digital economy, banking sector, environmental sector. The general problems of the specified sectors are highlighted. It has been proved that our state has come a long way, focusing on the Association Agreement, issuing legislation, bringing the industry closer to European standards. However, progress towards the dream goal is quite slow. That is why a number of proposals and events in the field of state regulation were put forward, the application of which will help solve actual problems, will make European integration more effective, will lead Ukraine to economic growth and will improve the living standards of ukrainians.
