FOR AUTHORS
The articles by doctors of sciences, candidates of sciences, young sciences (postgraduate students, PhD students, students), as well as other persons who have higher education and are engaged in scientific activity, are accepted for publication. Students' articles can published in the presence of a co-author with a degree. The authors submit articles representing solely their own original research following the rules of citation and referencing. Submission of fraudulent information or plagiarism is unacceptable and unethical. In addition, only articles that have not been published in other journals are accepted.
To publish an article in the scientific collection you must send an e-mail to the editors with the following materials:
1. Information about the author (link).
2. The article drawn up according to the specified requirements should be sent to journal@economyandsociety.in.ua Please, note! If you have not received the confirmation letter in 2 business days, please contact the editorial office.
Authors receive a letter with the results of review process - see Review Process (rejected, accepted with revision, accepted) and details for paying publication fee in case of successful review.
3. Scanned receipt for payment of the publication fee for the scientific article.
The publication fee is 50 USD. In a 10 working days after acceptance of the article, the editors send an approved certificate on acceptance of the article signed by the Chief Editor and sealed via e-mail. The publication fee is paid after the article is approved for release.
It is necessary to send a scanned copy of receipt for payment the publication fee to the executive secretary via e-mail.
Publication language: submission of articles in Ukrainian and English is allowed.
The scientific article should contain the following elements:
1. General problem statement and its connection with scientific and practical objectives.
2. Analysis of recent research and publications concerning discussion, approaches to solution of the problem mentioned, which the author uses as the basis. Here, the unresolved points of the general problem studied in the article should be specified.
3. Formulation of the article’s purposes (objectives setting).
4. The main research material mentioning justification of the scientific results obtained.
5. Conclusions of the research and prospects for further development.
6. List of sources used and References. List of sources used (Список використаних джерел) are specified in order they are mentioned or alphabetically (according to the international standard DSTU 8302:2015 “Information and documentation. Bibliographic references. Generals and rules for assembly”). References to the sources in text should be made in square brackets indicating the page number according to the source: for example, [3, p. 234] or [2, p 35; 8, p. 234]. References to the sources in the end of the article must be made in Roman alphabet in accordance with the APA Style Reference Citations.
The article should have the following structural elements: the UDC index (in the upper left corner of the page); topical section; surname and initials of the author(s) (3 authors max.), scientific degree, academic rank, affiliation (in Ukrainian and English), ORCID for author(s); the title of the article (in the language of the article and English); abstract and keywords; text of the article; list of the sources used and “References”.
The article should contain abstracts and keywords in Ukrainian, Russian and English. The volume of abstracts in Ukrainian and Russian: 700-800 characters without spaces minimum. Amount of keywords: 5 words/phrases minimum. The volume of extended abstract in English: 1800 characters without spaces minimum. In case of concerns about translation accuracy, the editors can provide help. In the extended abstract in English, there should be mentioned: the purpose and relevance of the topic; methodology (methods) of research; the characteristics of the results obtained; practical value of the article. There should be no references to other research or sources of information. The abstract should contain no subparagraphs. The text should be short and original. It is inappropriate to use information from the main text of the article. In case the article is submitted in English, the extended abstract should be in Ukrainian.
Technical requirements: volume of the article – from 8 to 20 pages, А4 (297 x 210); margins: left – 25 mm, right, top and bottom – 20 mm, typed in Microsoft Word. The text of the article, bibliographic list, abstracts etc. are typed in Times New Roman, 14 pt, spacing – 1.5.
If the article contains tables and (or) figures, they should be compact, entitled, font – Times New Roman, 12 pt. The size of tables and figures should not be wider than the page. Mathematical formulas should be carefully checked and clearly typed using the internal formula editor of Microsoft Word for Windows. The amount of tables, formulas and figures should be minimal and applicable. Figures and tables in landscape format are not accepted.
