RESTRUCTURING AS AN EFFECTIVE MEANS OF ENTERPRISES' HEALTH

Abstract

The article is devoted to the theoretical substantiation of the essence of restructuring and the development of a comprehensive step-by-step toolkit for its implementation, aimed at the financial and economic recovery of an enterprise in times of crisis. In conditions of prolonged martial law and rapid technological changes, Ukrainian enterprises are forced to operate in a mode of constant risk management. In such circumstances, traditional management methods often prove ineffective, which leads to a deterioration in the financial condition of enterprises and the threat of their bankruptcy. That is why restructuring becomes the key and most effective tool for comprehensive recovery of the enterprise. In scientific research, the method of critical analysis of scientific and methodological literature, practical experience, in accordance with the requirements for the level of methodology and research techniques is used. The choice of specific research methods depends on the conditions and purpose of the research. Methods are an ordered system in which their place is determined in accordance with the specific stage of research, the use of technical techniques and work with theoretical information and certain facts in a given sequence. The article comprehensively investigates the essence of enterprise restructuring. The main types of restructuring are analyzed, the prerequisites, internal and external reasons for its initiation are identified. Special attention is paid to the step-by-step algorithm and stages of practical implementation of restructuring changes. The strategic role of restructuring processes in significantly increasing competitiveness, optimizing costs, increasing overall efficiency of activities, as well as ensuring long-term financial stability and adaptability of business entities in conditions of high economic instability and market risks is determined. Restructuring is a comprehensive tool of anti-crisis management, integrating legal, managerial and financial levers of business transformation. Its effectiveness is based on a combination of operational restoration of liquidity (through financial and property tools) and strategic restructuring of production processes. The effectiveness of restructuring is assessed not so much by the fact of repayment of current liabilities, but by obtaining a positive integral effect. The main criterion for success is to lead the enterprise onto the path of self-sufficiency, financial independence and high adaptability to changes in the market situation.
