ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF CROP PRODUCTS IN THE CONTEXT OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF UKRAINE
Abstract
The article is devoted to topical issues of formation of economic efficiency of crop production in the context of innovative development of Ukraine. The main focus is on the study and systematization of innovation management. In the agricultural economy in recent years there have been some successes, but in the field of crop production this trend is unstable, due to the legislative, natural and climatic conditions of management, it is proposed to address these issues. The activity of enterprises in the field of crop production today is a modern organization and information support of economic activity, which must function efficiently and properly. Important from the preconditions of efficient management during the introduction of an innovative model of economic development are investment policy, economical use of funds, turnover planning and profit forecasting. Agricultural enterprises are interested in innovations, thanks to which they can gain certain competitive advantages – the uniqueness of a new product, reducing production costs, improving product quality and more. Thus, innovations in crop production are an opportunity to increase the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises and provide prospects for further development and market leadership in the world market. Economic efficiency of production affects its efficiency, is the main criterion of the mechanism of innovative activity of the crop industry in Ukraine. For the better functioning of agricultural enterprises it is necessary to have optimal conditions of macro- and microeconomics, to manage the availability of resources through an effective economic mechanism in the crop sector, which must be flexible and meet innovative requirements. The main crops grown by agricultural enterprises, which accounted for the largest sown areas were cereals and legumes (mostly wheat and corn), among industrial crops - sunflower and soybeans. The instability of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine in recent years is due to the lack of proper understanding of the functions of the state in relation to macroeconomic regulation of economic efficiency, as an important element of the mechanism of crop production in the context of innovative development of Ukraine.
