DIGITAL DESIGN IN HOTEL AND RESTAURANT BUSINESS: MODERN TRENDS
Abstract
The article examines current trends in the development of digital design in the hotel and restaurant business in the context of the digital transformation of the hospitality industry. The relevance of the study is determined by the growing role of digital technologies in ensuring the competitiveness of HoReCa enterprises, improving customer service quality, and optimizing management processes. The study analyzes the main areas of digital design implementation in hospitality enterprises, including UX/UI design of websites and mobile applications, digital branding, 3D visualization, smart technologies, interactive digital services, digital marketing, and augmented and virtual reality technologies. Particular attention is paid to the role of digital design in creating an effective communication environment between enterprises and consumers. It has been determined that modern digital solutions significantly influence customer behavior, the level of satisfaction with services, and the formation of loyalty to hotel and restaurant brands. The study substantiates that high-quality UX/UI design improves navigation convenience, accelerates interaction with digital platforms, and increases the efficiency of online booking and ordering systems. The article also investigates the impact of smart technologies, CRM and ERP systems, AI services, QR menus, chatbots, and AR/VR technologies on the automation of service processes and personalization of customer experience. It has been established that the integration of digital solutions into the activities of HoReCa enterprises contributes to improving marketing communications, strengthening brand image, increasing customer engagement, and enhancing operational efficiency. The results of the study confirm that digital design performs not only an aesthetic function but also a strategic, communicative, and managerial role in the hospitality industry. It has been proved that the implementation of innovative digital technologies ensures the sustainable innovative development of hotel and restaurant enterprises and forms additional competitive advantages in the conditions of the digital economy. Prospects for the further development of digital technologies in the hospitality sector are substantiated, particularly through the active integration of artificial intelligence, smart services, and immersive digital environments.
