PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES IN THE STOCK MARKET: CURRENT STATE AND DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
The article provides a multifaceted study of the current state of professional activity in the Ukrainian stock market, encompassing a detailed analysis of dynamic transformations under the influence of recent challenges and global financial trends of past years. Significant attention is paid to the activities of key market participants, examining their evolving functional roles in the context of limited liquidity and increased systemic risks. The study is based on a profound integration of fundamental theoretical approaches with practical aspects of financial institutions' functioning, allowing for an objective assessment of the level of professional staff training and their capacity to promptly adapt to constant changes in the regulatory environment, specifically new capitalization and reporting requirements. The application of systemic analysis, comparison, classification, and generalization methods has enabled the formation of a holistic picture of current market processes, taking into account both specific domestic national features and stringent international financial monitoring standards. A significant portion of this research is dedicated to the issues of strengthening state control by the national regulator and the implementation of innovative mechanisms to increase the transparency of professional participants' activities, which is identified as a critical factor for the gradual restoration of trust among private and institutional investors. Potential ways to modernize market infrastructure are explored, directly aimed at increasing Ukraine's investment attractiveness on the global stage. In the context of long-term prospects, the study characterizes the large-scale impact of digitalization processes, the widespread adoption of innovative FinTech solutions and cloud technologies, and the harmonization of the domestic legal framework with European directives. In conclusion, the article scientifically substantiates strategic guidelines for the development of professional activity that fully meet the urgent needs of the state's future post-crisis economic recovery and will contribute to the full integration of Ukraine into the global financial space.
