STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF LOGISTICS SYSTEMS OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES: CHALLENGES OF UKRAINIAN REALITIES
Abstract
The purpose of the article is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological principles of strategic management of logistics systems of agricultural enterprises, taking into account the specifics of Ukrainian realities, as well as to identify key areas for increasing their efficiency in the face of changes in the external environment. The methodological basis of the study is a combination of general scientific and special methods that provide a comprehensive study of strategic management of logistics systems of agricultural enterprises. A systematic approach was used to identify the relationships between the elements of logistics flows, methods of abstraction and generalization - to form theoretical propositions, as well as a comparison method to identify the specifics of the functioning of logistics in Ukrainian conditions. Elements of synthesis were used to assess the development trends and effectiveness of logistics solutions in the agricultural sector. The article examines the theoretical and methodological principles of strategic management of logistics systems of agricultural enterprises in the context of modern Ukrainian realities. It is substantiated that the transformation of the agricultural sector is accompanied by a significant complication of logistics processes, due to the spatial discontinuity of production and sales chains and the increase in the cost of transporting and storing products. The key challenges of the functioning of logistics systems are identified, among which the disruption of traditional supply channels and imbalances in resource provision are of particular importance, which necessitates the need for operational adaptation of agricultural enterprises to changes in the external environment. The specifics of the strategic approach to logistics systems management are studied, which involves the integration of functional subsystems and the coordination of material, financial and information flows. It is found that the functional efficiency of logistics solutions largely depends on the ability of enterprises to ensure the flexibility of logistics structures on the basis of minimizing transaction costs and increasing the level of manageability of flow processes. It is proven that strategic logistics management is a key factor in increasing the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises, as it allows optimizing turnover costs and ensuring overall stability of supplies. It is determined that in the conditions of Ukrainian realities, strategic management of logistics systems requires the formation of a comprehensive analytical toolkit capable of taking into account the multi-vector nature of influences and the high dynamism of the operating environment, which creates the prerequisites for increasing the effectiveness of economic activities of agricultural enterprises.
