ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN FINTECH AS A DRIVER OF BUSINESS PROCESS MODERNIZATION IN MODERN COMPANIES

Abstract

The study explores the functional role of artificial intelligence technologies in the FinTech sector as a driver of modernization of enterprise business processes within the digital economy. It substantiates that the implementation of AI-based tools in the FinTech sector, including automated data processing systems, digital payment platforms, and algorithmic decision-support mechanisms, forms the basis for the transition to a cognitive management model grounded in data-driven insights. The research establishes that the application of machine learning, Big Data, and predictive analytics transforms financial and operational processes from rigid structures into adaptive and prognostic systems, enhancing managerial responsiveness, operational efficiency, and resource allocation, as well as improving decision-making quality under conditions of uncertainty and accelerating organizational adaptability and strategic flexibility in a rapidly changing market environment. It is determined that the integration of artificial intelligence into FinTech enables real-time monitoring, automation of routine operations, improved risk assessment, and personalization of financial services, increasing transparency and reducing transaction costs. The study systematizes key barriers to implementation, including technological constraints, institutional limitations, lack of qualified personnel, cybersecurity risks, and issues of data integration that hinder digital transformation. Strategic directions for FinTech development based on artificial intelligence are proposed, focusing on strengthening digital infrastructure, advancing analytical competencies, ensuring data protection, enhancing regulatory adaptability, and improving innovation capacity. The findings confirm that AI integration into financial technologies is a key factor in transforming business processes and enhancing enterprise adaptability in a dynamic and highly competitive environment, supporting long-term sustainable development and digital resilience under conditions of global uncertainty.
