A STUDY OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF FORECASTING ANALYTICAL SYSTEMS BY UKRAINIAN COMPANIES
Abstract
This article examines the characteristics of the implementation of analytical forecasting systems by Ukrainian companies in the context of economic digitalisation and increasing market competition. It demonstrates the importance of using modern information and analytical technologies – in particular, machine learning, artificial intelligence, regression analysis and time series models to improve the efficiency of enterprise management. It has been established that the implementation of predictive analytical systems contributes to the improvement of strategic planning, the optimisation of production processes, and the management of inventories, logistics operations and financial resources. The paper examines practical experience in the use of predictive analytical systems using the example of leading Ukrainian companies in various sectors, including the agricultural sector, logistics, trade, manufacturing and information technology. An analysis of the financial and economic performance indicators of enterprises for 2022–2024 was conducted, which made it possible to assess the effectiveness of applying modern analytical solutions in their operations. A positive trend was identified in most indicators, in particular growth in net income, assets and labour productivity, which indicates an increase in the efficiency of resource utilisation and an improvement in the financial results of enterprises. At the same time, it was established that the effectiveness of using analytical forecasting systems may vary depending on sector-specific characteristics, the scale of the enterprise’s operations and the influence of external economic factors. It has been demonstrated that the most significant results are achieved through the integrated use of analytical tools across various areas of management, including financial planning, demand forecasting, cost control and strategic management decision-making. A summary of the research findings confirmed that analytical forecasting systems are a key factor in enhancing the competitiveness of Ukrainian enterprises, ensuring timely adaptation to changes in the external environment and contributing to the development of an effective management system based on the processing of large data sets.
