AN ENTROPY-BASED DIGITAL MODEL OF ESG MANAGEMENT AND COMPLIANCE IN PHARMACEUTICAL BIOINNOVATION ECOSYSTEMS AND ORGANIZED COMMODITY MARKET TRANSFORMATION

Abstract

The article explores the development of an entropy-digital model of compliance and ESG management within the ecosystem of bioinnovations and the ongoing transformation of organized commodity markets in the pharmaceutical industry. The study’s relevance is driven by the growing complexity of technological and production processes in the pharmaceutical sector, the intensification of regulatory requirements, and the rapid digital transformation of economic systems. It has been established that contemporary pharmaceutical markets operate under conditions of high knowledge intensity, continuous innovative change, and a critical need for management transparency. These factors highlight the necessity of integrating advanced digital platforms, algorithmic data processing, and automated compliance mechanisms. The research demonstrates that ESG orientation combined with a long-term investment perspective constitutes a crucial factor for enhancing the resilience and sustainability of pharmaceutical companies, reducing regulatory risks, and fostering trust among market participants. Furthermore, the study proves that the development and implementation of digital ecosystems provide the conditions for creating socially responsible management models. Within these models, digital tools facilitate the transparency of information flows, adaptive and agile business processes, and effective stakeholder interaction. Special attention is given to the role of digitalization in decreasing managerial decision entropy and improving the coherence of institutional mechanisms governing organized commodity markets. Based on the findings, the article proposes a comprehensive entropy-digital model of compliance and ESG management. This model integrates digital platform infrastructure, tools for mitigating information and market entropy, mechanisms for ESG control and compliance, and institutional adaptation instruments aimed at supporting the growth and efficiency of bioinnovation ecosystems. The proposed model is intended to enhance the manageability of innovation-driven processes, harmonize stakeholder interests, and ensure the sustainability, resilience, and long-term competitiveness of pharmaceutical markets in the context of pervasive digital transformation and evolving regulatory landscapes.
