EVOLUTION OF CONCEPTS OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT UNDER CONDITIONS OF DIGITALIZATION

Abstract

The article explores the evolution of concepts of human resource development management in the context of the digital transformation of the economy. The relevance of the topic is determined by the need to adapt human resource development management systems to conditions of socio-economic instability, wartime challenges, and the rapid development of digital technologies that transform the requirements for employee competencies and the mechanisms of their development. The transformation of the business environment requires a transition from administrative personnel management models to strategic, data-driven approaches based on the use of digital platforms, HR analytics, and artificial intelligence tools. The purpose of the study is to analyze the evolution of concepts of human resource development management and to determine the methodological foundations of their transformation in the context of digitalization. The methodological basis consists of general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, generalization, comparison), a historical-logical approach to the study of the stages of HRM development, as well as competency-based and systemic approaches to personnel management. As a result of the research, the key stages of the evolution of personnel management are summarized - from scientific management and the administrative model to the concepts of e-HRM and Smart HRM. The features of the digital model of personnel development management are identified, which is based on personalized learning, the use of HR analytics and Big Data. The study argues that the competency-based approach serves as the methodological foundation of the modern system of human resource development management. Using the example of pharmaceutical companies of Ukraine, practical aspects of integrating digital HR solutions into the corporate environment are demonstrated. Prospects for further research consist in the development of methodological approaches to measuring the effectiveness of human resource development management in the context of digitalization, in particular through assessing the impact of digital tools on the dynamics of competencies, employee engagement, and the competitiveness of enterprises.
