SYSTEM OF FINANCIAL SECURITY OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES: ANALYTICAL COMPONENT
Abstract
The financial security of an agricultural enterprise in modern conditions should be considered not simply as a certain characteristic of its state. It should be perceived in a broader and deeper context - as a system of financial security of a business entity that acts as an object of management. The financial security of agricultural enterprises is formed in a certain space-time continuum, when at a certain point in time its state can be described by a certain set of characteristics and indicators that will change, responding to the volatility of the external and internal environment. This requires diagnostics of the financial security of the enterprise not "pointwise", in a certain period of time, but studying its level and characteristics on a regular basis in dynamics. The effectiveness of the entire system of financial security of an agricultural enterprise depends on the effectiveness and efficiency of the diagnostic subsystem. The purpose of this study is to develop a methodological toolkit for identifying the level of financial security of agricultural enterprises and an analytical assessment of the financial security of agricultural enterprises in dynamics on its basis. The feasibility of using the Integral Index for a comprehensive assessment of the financial security of an agricultural enterprise is substantiated, which takes into account four of its aspects: financial stability, profitability, liquidity and business activity. Based on the proposed methodology, a study of the level of financial security of agricultural enterprises for 2018-2024 was conducted, which demonstrated that agricultural enterprises were not ready for the risks caused by a full-scale invasion in 2022. It should be noted that in 2023-2024, agricultural enterprises were able to change the financial security system, adapting to new operating conditions and taking into account newly formed risks. Such adaptation ensured an improvement in the level of financial security of agricultural enterprises by 2024, however, the Integral Index did not reach the pre-war level for any category of agricultural producers.
