QUALITY MANAGEMENT OF PRODUCTS AS AN ELEMENT OF STRATEGIC ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of current aspects of forming investment and innovation priorities for the sustainable development of territorial units under the conditions of modern economic transformations and increasing global competition. Particular attention is paid to the role of innovation and investment processes as key drivers of long-term regional growth, structural modernization of the economy, and strengthening the competitiveness of regions. The paper analyzes and systematizes the main factors influencing the innovative development of regions, including the level of technological capacity, the availability of research and scientific potential, the development of innovation infrastructure, the accessibility of financial resources, and the overall investment climate. Special attention is given to the institutional environment that determines the effectiveness of interaction between economic actors and stimulates innovation-oriented development. The study identifies the relationship between the level of innovation activity and the competitiveness of territorial units. It is emphasized that regions with developed innovation ecosystems demonstrate higher economic resilience, greater adaptability to global challenges, and better opportunities for sustainable socio-economic growth. The article also highlights the important role of strategic management in forming regional economic policies aimed at stimulating innovation, attracting investment resources, and supporting high-tech sectors of the economy. Considerable attention is devoted to the analysis of international experience in organizing innovation processes and implementing effective regional innovation policies. The study outlines the possibilities for adapting successful foreign practices to national conditions, taking into account the specific institutional, economic, and social characteristics of regional development. The research also identifies key reserves for increasing the investment attractiveness of territorial units. These include the development of cluster initiatives, strengthening public-private partnership mechanisms, stimulating business innovation activity, improving the efficiency of regional development institutions, and creating favorable conditions for the implementation of advanced technologies. The necessity of forming an integrated system of innovation management at the regional level is substantiated, which would ensure the efficient use of available resources, promote innovation diffusion, enhance regional competitiveness, and contribute to sustainable economic development.
