SYNERGISTIC EFFECTS OF TRADE AND ECONOMIC COOPERATION FACTORS ON THE EXPORT POTENTIAL OF REGIONS IN THE CONTEXT OF ENSURING FOREIGN ECONOMIC SECURITY
Abstract
The article is devoted to highlighting the results of research aimed at improving and further developing existing approaches to setting and solving the problem of assessing and analyzing the synergistic effects of the influence of trade and economic cooperation factors on the export potential of regions in the context of ensuring the foreign economic security of the regions of the western part of Ukraine. The influence of trade and economic cooperation factors on the export potential of the regions of the western part of Ukraine in relation to the export potential indicators of other regions is considered. The use of simulation models allowed to obtain competitive scientific results, which can become a methodological basis for solving the problems of increasing the efficiency of using the economic potential of the relevant regions in order to actualize their export opportunities and ensure the achievement of the goals of foreign economic security. To assess and analyze the possible synergistic effects of the influence of foreign economic activity factors on the export potential of the regions of western part of Ukraine, the analysis also included an indicator of the volume of real imports, which allowed us to take into account the possible effects of the external environment on the export capabilities of the studied regions. The analysis of factors of direct and indirect influence on the development of export potential was carried out using indirect beta coefficients. The results confirmed the previous conclusions about the mutual influence between the export potentials of the regions of the western part of Ukraine. The developed models allowed us to note the absence of an unambiguous positive influence of positive trends in the development of the export potential of individual regions on others in all cases. This confirms the need for further analysis of the impact of key endogenous and exogenous factors on the formation of the export component of the potential of foreign economic activity of regions. Such an approach will allow us to construct us a qualitatively new approach to the empirical solution of the problem of determining and using the competitive advantages of each individual region and creating programs of interaction between regions with the aim of further developing international trade and economic relations and ensuring foreign economic security at the regional and national levels.
