CONDITIONS AND FACTORS OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT: PHILOSOPHICAL AND ECONOMIC PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the essence of human development from the standpoint of philosophy and economics, which allows us to study not only its theoretical content but also its role in the formation of competitive advantages. Human potential is an effective component of the competitiveness system only if it is permanently developed, acquiring a new qualitative content, which inevitably affects the economic environment through changing needs and, accordingly, markets, changing requirements for the content of work, the need to develop education, healthcare, and the cultural component of socio-economic life. Human development should be considered in two interrelated perspectives: philosophical and economic. From the standpoint of philosophy, human development is a permanent movement of acquiring new qualities. In economic terms, human development serves as the purpose of the economic system and acts as a tool for creating competitive advantages. It is proved that the determining conditions of human development are the presence of human capital, the intentionality of the economy, and strategic management of development. Three levels of human development are distinguished, i.e. personal, enterprise level, and state level. At each of them, factors are presented that determine the effectiveness of development. At the first level, the basic factors are family, school, and moral values. At the second level, education. Career, talent management, corporate culture, and feedback. At the state level, basic factors are identified, which include the labor market, the development of the economy, and state support for families. The consequences of human development can be the following: increased labor productivity, increased efficiency of the economic system, increased innovation, and reduced staff turnover at the enterprise. Human development is becoming a key asset in the modern economy. Thus, human development is an investment in the most valuable asset of the enterprise and the state – people, which brings long-term benefits to the entire economic system. Human development is active tool of the life quality and important task of researches.
