ANALYSIS OF DIGITALIZATION TRENDS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE NEED TO IMPROVE FINANCIAL REGULATION OF DIGITALIZATION PROCESSES IN UKRAINE

Abstract

Digital technologies, primarily artificial intelligence, blockchain, big data, and fintech solutions, are transforming the structure and mechanisms of business and the financial sector, which must adapt most rapidly in order to maintain competitiveness. For Ukraine, which is on the path of European integration and seeks to implement an innovative development model, digitalization serves simultaneously as a driver of economic growth and a challenge for the system of public, in particular financial, regulation, which substantiates the relevance of the present research. The methodological basis of the study includes general scientific and special economic methods, such as analysis and synthesis, comparison, systematization, and structural analysis, which made it possible to assess the interaction between financial regulation and digital transformation processes. The article analyzes digitalization trends in the context of the need to improve financial regulation of digitalization processes in Ukraine. It is emphasized that digitalization is a key factor in adapting Ukrainian businesses to contemporary challenges and a stimulus for innovative development. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the volume of products sold through electronic commerce in Ukraine. The study also examines digitalization trends related to the use of such digital tools as ERP, CRM, and BI systems (business intelligence). It is argued that the competitiveness and innovative potential of enterprises are largely determined by the implementation of artificial intelligence and business process automation. The expediency of further using the obtained analytical results as a basis for decision-making and for improving financial regulation and developing specific programmatic and strategic policy documents in Ukraine is substantiated, which constitutes the practical value of the research findings as well as prospects for their further development. At the same time, emphasis is placed on the need to harmonize these measures with EU regulatory documents in order to ensure the fastest possible adaptation to them in the event of accelerated European integration scenarios for Ukraine.
