GENESIS OF SCIENTIFIC CONCEPTS OF RESEARCHING THE FINANCIAL BEHAVIOR OF ENTERPRISES IN THE CONTEXT OF ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATIONS
Abstract
The article examines the genesis of scientific concepts for studying the financial behavior of enterprises in the context of economic transformations. The evolution of theoretical approaches from classical and neoclassical models of rational choice to modern behavioral, institutional, and interdisciplinary concepts that take into account the impact of uncertainty, risk, and transformational shifts in the economic environment is systematized. The change in paradigms of financial behavior of enterprises in the process of structural, institutional and socio-economic transformations, accompanied by the growth of information asymmetry and bounded rationality of economic agents, is analyzed. In modern studies of economic instability, the concept of a multidimensional shock is increasingly used, which refers to the simultaneous impact of several interrelated negative factors. Namely: economic, financial, institutional, social and behavioral. Such a shock is not limited to a separate sphere of the economy, but spreads to different levels of the functioning of the economic system, forming a cumulative effect of uncertainty and destabilization. In a transformational economy, multidimensional shocks are particularly dangerous due to the incompleteness of institutional reforms and the weak ability of the system to self-regulate. The transformational economy creates specific operating conditions in which traditional rational choice models are limited in their explanatory power. Financial behavior in such conditions acquires an adaptive and evolutionary nature, which requires the use of institutional and behavioral approaches for its scientific analysis and justification of management decisions. The transformation economy is characterized by high instability and risk, caused by institutional failures, economic crises, and military shocks, which significantly affect the financial behavior of enterprises. An important aspect of the transition to a behavioral paradigm is the ability to predict adaptive strategies and manage risks under conditions of high uncertainty.
