LEAN CONCEPT AS A MEANS OF INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF CONSTRUCTION OF ENERGY GENERATION FACILITIES OF ALTERNATIVE ENERGY

Abstract

The article thoroughly investigates the application of the Lean concept as an innovative approach to improving the efficiency of construction projects and operational management of enterprises in the energy sector. The focus is on organizations that are actively implementing solutions in the field of renewable and alternative energy, thereby directly contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals at the national level. The study goes beyond a superficial overview of Lean tools, deeply analyzing its conceptual roots and synergy with the Toyota Production System (TPS) philosophy. The authors demonstrate how the organic combination of these two complementary systems forms a powerful methodological framework. This framework is aimed not only at identifying obvious waste (muda), but also at systematically combating overload (muri) and process unevenness (mura). An important aspect of the presented methodology is the focus on creating a sustainable culture of continuous improvement (kaizen) and deep respect for people - principles that are critically important for the successful implementation of complex and technologically advanced energy projects. The paper examines in detail the key principles (for example, defining value for the end user, building a continuous flow, using the "pull" system) and specific tools (5S, Kanban, standardized work), which could be adapted to the specifics of the energy industry. Based on the theoretical analysis, the authors propose a comprehensive, systemic approach to strategic management transformation in energy industry organizations. This approach integrates Lean/TPS technical tools with the strategic goals of the enterprise, aimed at comprehensive optimization of business processes - from the design and construction of new alternative energy facilities to their maintenance and operation. The result of the implementation can be a significant increase in operational efficiency, increased competitiveness of the organization, reduced risks and losses, as well as the formation of a new, more flexible corporate culture. It is concluded that the maximum efficiency of the construction process (and related processes) of alternative energy facilities is achieved by a comprehensive approach to the implementation of Lean/TPS
