CHANGE IN MANAGEMENT OF THE INTELLECTUAL POTENTIAL OF AN ENTERPRISE IN THE CONDITIONS OF TRANSITION TO THE DIGITAL ECONOMY

Abstract

The article considers current issues related to changes in the management of the intellectual potential of enterprises in the context of the transition to a digital economy. It is proven that at present we can speak of the presence of clearly expressed trends in the transition to a digital economy. The transition to a digital economy is defined as a natural stage in the evolution of socio-economic systems, which is associated with a change in value systems, theoretical postulates and methodological principles of their functioning. It is established that intellectual potential, its formation and development, and the effectiveness of the use of intellectual potential play an increasingly important role in ensuring the competitiveness of enterprises in today's conditions. The work of domestic scientists in the field of managing the intellectual potential of enterprises is considered, including in the context of the intensification of digital transformation. The goal is to decompose the factors influencing the conditions of the transition to a digital economy on the management of intellectual potential, taking into account its components and stages of the management process. Methods of theoretical analysis and generalization, systematization and decomposition were used to solve the research tasks. It was found that the process of transition to a digital economy has a significant impact on all processes of functioning of modern enterprises, including the process of intellectual potential management. The components of intellectual potential were specified. It was established that the main components of intellectual potential are competence, economic, organizational-cultural and reputational. The essence and features of each component were considered. The factors of influence of the conditions of transition to a digital economy on intellectual potential management were decomposed. When considering the factors of transition to new conditions, their impact on different stages of intellectual potential management (planning and forecasting, formation and development, use, monitoring of effectiveness) was taken into account. Prospects for further research in the field of improving the process of intellectual potential management were considered.
