Abstract

The article is devoted to analyzing the effectiveness of crisis management in security service enterprises under martial law conditions. The purpose of the study is to identify the key factors that influence the stability, continuity of operations, and economic security of security enterprises amid contemporary threats. The main concepts of crisis management − preventive, adaptive, and reactive − are examined, their comparative analysis is conducted, and the possibilities of their application in the security sector are evaluated. It is established that the comprehensiveness of crisis management is ensured through the integration of strategic planning, risk management, resource optimization, external environment monitoring, and the use of modern technological solutions. Particular attention is paid to the challenges of integrating the crisis management mechanism with the economic security of enterprises, including methodological gaps, resource constraints, insufficient information exchange, and organizational-cultural barriers. Practical models for implementing state and grant support programs for security enterprises during wartime are analyzed, and their advantages and limitations are identified. Based on the assessment of crisis management strategies’ effectiveness, recommendations are formulated to strengthen the resilience of security enterprises, including the implementation of early warning systems, improvement of resource management, personnel training enhancement, and adaptation of strategies to wartime conditions. Additionally, key risks for security enterprises are outlined, and directions for modernizing crisis management considering digitalization and a project-based approach are proposed. The results of the study indicate that effective crisis management in the security sector is possible through a comprehensive approach that combines preventive, adaptive, and reactive strategies and ensures the integration of crisis management measures with the enterprise’s economic security. This enhances the resilience of security service providers to crisis impacts and ensures stable functioning even under martial law.
