RESEARCH OF GLOBAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT PRACTICES
Abstract
It is proven that modern operating conditions of enterprises are characterized by challenges, risks and instability, which requires changes in organizational and managerial approaches to work. It is established that it is the project-oriented approach that allows ensuring the effectiveness of management in various sectors of the economy. The problems faced by domestic business in project activities are analyzed. The leading experience of developed countries in the field of project management is studied. The generalization of global project management practices of countries with developed market economies made it possible to identify such trends that are of interest to Ukraine. Namely: the formation of certification systems for specialists in the field of project management and project managers (national and international levels); development of terminology and methodological basis for the implementation of project management technologies; introduction of own unified methods, mechanisms, tools and standards; international cooperation. Attention is focused on the issue of forming national certification systems and standards. The experience of using standard project management methods implemented in different countries of the world was studied. Attention was focused on the most common basic international standards (PMBOK, ISO, PRINCE 2, PRINCE 2 Agile, P2M). It was emphasized that in the project management system, enterprises and organizations of different countries of the world also use other regulatory documentation. They use the requirements and standards of both the international and national levels. The experience of using digital transformations in ensuring the flexibility of project management was studied. Attention was focused on the fact that the introduction of specialized software and digital services increases the efficiency of the management and control process at all stages of the project. Adaptation of leading world practices to domestic conditions will allow timely implementation of the tasks set against the background of cost optimization according to world standards of quality, environmental safety, and reduce the riskiness of the project.
