INTRODUCING INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS INTO BUSINESS OPERATIONS: ANALYSIS OF ADVANTAGES, CHALLENGES, AND PROSPECTS

Abstract

The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the role and impact of intelligent systems and artificial intelligence technologies on the transformation of the modern business environment. The relevance of the study is driven by the profound changes in the global economic landscape, where digitalization has shifted from being an innovative option to a fundamental requirement for corporate survival and sustainable development. The paper argues that the integration of intelligent systems significantly enhances managerial decision-making processes by enabling the processing of vast datasets, forecasting market trends, and analyzing consumer behavior, thereby making business strategies more evidence-based and effective. The study identifies key areas of AI application, such as predictive analytics in industry, logistics optimization, precision farming in agriculture, and risk management in the financial sector. Significant attention is paid to the systemic analysis of challenges associated with the implementation of intelligent systems. The author classifies these challenges into four interrelated categories: financial risks; operational risks; human factors; and ethical-legal risks. It is emphasized that these risks can create a cascading effect, threatening the stability of the entire business. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the formulation of a fundamental managerial problem defined as the "strategic trilemma." The study demonstrates that modern business leaders are forced to continuously balance three conflicting imperatives: the speed of implementation to maintain competitiveness; responsible management to minimize security and ethical risks; and economic feasibility to ensure return on investment. Based on this model, the article identifies various strategic profiles of companies and substantiates the necessity of achieving a "zone of dynamic balance." It is concluded that the successful integration of intelligent systems requires a holistic approach that combines technological innovation with organizational transformation, allowing companies to form a sustainable competitive advantage in the new technological reality.
