DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF ENTERPRISE MANAGEMENT: GLOBAL TRENDS AND UKRAINIAN PRACTICE
Abstract
The article explores digital transformation in enterprise management as a key factor in improving managerial efficiency in the context of the digital economy. It reveals the essence of this process as the integration of digital technologies into all areas of enterprise activity, leading to changes in business models, management approaches, and corporate culture. Theoretical and conceptual foundations of digital maturity and models for assessing enterprises’ readiness for transformation are summarized. Particular attention is paid to modern global trends — business process intellectualization, the development of hybrid cloud architectures, democratization of digital development, implementation of digital twins, enhancement of cybersecurity, and integration of ESG data into corporate governance. Digital development indices, including DESI, are analyzed to reflect global progress in digitalization. The article provides a comparative analysis of global and Ukrainian practices of digital transformation, identifying the main barriers and drivers of implementation. It is established that in Ukraine, digitalization has intensified since 2014, largely due to the creation of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the introduction of flagship projects such as Diia and Prozorro. However, several challenges remain, including staff shortages, limited funding, and uneven digital development. Further advancement of digital maturity among Ukrainian enterprises requires the expansion of digital infrastructure, development of human capital, and improvement of the regulatory framework. The research highlights that successful digital transformation not only enhances competitiveness and transparency but also contributes to resilience, innovation potential, and sustainable development of the national economy. Prospects for further research include an in-depth analysis of the relationship between the level of digital maturity of enterprises and their economic efficiency, a comparative study of industry models of digitalization, and an assessment of the impact of government programs to support digital transformation.
