CORPORATE ETHICS AND SUPPLY CHAINS TRANSPARENCY IN TRANSPORT LOGISTICS

Abstract

The article examines the role of corporate ethics in ensuring the transparency of supply chains in transport logistics. It is determined that corporate ethics is a system of moral principles, norms and values that regulate the behavior of employees, management, partners and customers in the process of economic activity. It was emphasized that in the context of globalization, digital transformation, and growing social responsibility of business, corporate ethics is becoming a key factor in building trust, business reputation, and sustainable development of companies in the transport and logistics sector. The main principles of ethical behavior are outlined - honesty, integrity, responsibility, fairness and transparency - adherence to which ensures the alignment of interests of all participants in the logistics process. It has been analyzed that corporate ethics encompasses not only moral aspects, but also managerial, social, and technological components that form an ethical culture of interaction and create the basis for increasing the competitiveness of the enterprise. The importance of the code of corporate conduct as an effective tool for implementing ethical standards, a mechanism for forming a culture of trust, open communications, and preventing corruption is revealed. Supply chain transparency has been proven to be a practical dimension of ethical governance, contributing to increased accountability, resource efficiency, and strengthened partnerships. It is noted that the use of innovative technologies — blockchain, GPS navigation, electronic document management, big data analytics - ensures control over the movement of goods, reduces the risks of fraud, contributes to increasing the efficiency of operations and the formation of long-term trust between market participants. It is emphasized that the digitalization of logistics is accompanied by new ethical challenges related to the protection of personal data, information confidentiality, and responsible use of technology. It is substantiated that the implementation of ethical standards in logistics contributes to increasing management efficiency, minimizing reputational risks, and forming a positive image of the company. It is concluded that corporate ethics and supply chain transparency are interrelated components of the successful development of transport and logistics enterprises in modern conditions. Effective ethics is an effective business based on trust, openness and responsibility to society.
