SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT UNDER RELOCATION: DIGITAL SOLUTIONS AND RESILIENCE MECHANISMS

Keywords: supply chains, management, relocation, digitalization, resilience, logistics, adaptation

Abstract

The peculiarities of supply chain management under enterprise relocation as an adaptive response to economic and political instability and military threats were investigated in the article. The methodological basis of the study was built on the combination of the case method, quantitative analysis, and qualitative research. By this approach, statistical changes in the dynamics of enterprise activity were not only recorded but also their causes were explained, which was considered significant under conditions of crisis transformations and relocation of production facilities. Certain limitations were acknowledged, as the analysis was carried out using data from a single enterprise; therefore, the results cannot be directly generalized to the entire industry. However, by applying a mixed methodology (quantitative and qualitative), a more comprehensive understanding of adaptation and relocation processes was achieved. Special emphasis was placed on digital solutions (ERP, WMS, EDI, Power BI, CRM), through which transparency, acceleration of document flow, accuracy of demand forecasting, and control of logistics costs were ensured. The concept of supply chain resilience was analyzed, and the key mechanisms of its formation were identified: diversification of suppliers and distribution channels, reserve routes, scenario planning, flexible contracts, and warehouse automation. Based on a case study of a Ukrainian enterprise, it was demonstrated that relocation was accompanied by increased logistics costs, personnel constraints, and the necessity for digital transformation of management processes. At the same time, growth in export volumes and diversification of the product range were achieved, which was interpreted as evidence of adaptability to crisis conditions. Directions for improving supply chain management under relocation were proposed, including the implementation of integrated WMS solutions, the development of predictive analytics, the strengthening of B2B channels, the digitalization of service processes, and the diversification of the supplier base.
